No, I'm not being sarcastic - I genuinely enjoy the surreal and am rarely disappointed when I (infrequently) order grocery shopping online. The replacement items are nearly always entirely random - I once got a pack of butter instead of fresh pineapple - but barbecue skewers for panty liners is a classic. Or she could use the skewers to knit a batch of liners!!!!! Just a thought.
