On the gallop at the moment, but I have to share something I heard yesterday.
A woman who ordered two packs of pantyliners in her weekly on-line grocery shop got a note with her delivery apologising that they were currently out of stock. BUT they had been replaced with a similar item to minmise any inconvenience.
She got two packs of bamboo barbeque skewers instead.
I do know that many kitchen items are made from bamboo—— perhaps they thought she could mash these wooden skewers into a pulp , roll it out,let it dry and hey presto you havea panty liner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Or she could use the skewers to knit a batch of liners!!!!! Just a thought.

Online supermarket shopping is such fun. No, I’m not being sarcastic – I genuinely enjoy the surreal and am rarely disappointed when I (infrequently) order grocery shopping online. The replacement items are nearly always entirely random – I once got a pack of butter instead of fresh pineapple – but barbecue skewers for panty liners is a classic. Thank you for sharing; this one I shall treasure.
