Around midnight on Friday I felt the earth move. I live about six miles from BBC White City and when The Nolans stamped and shouted ‘I’m in the Mood for Dancing’ on Children in Need there was a definite rumble all the way out here.
Sadly no-one on Strictly seemed to be in the mood for dancing last night. Strictly needs a kick up the sequinned ass because it now feels like we’re limping to a dead cert final with Ricky whittle as the winner . If Ali Bastian would only Dita Von Tease herself up a bit maybe there could still be a competition ?
Yesterday afternoon I went to see the Jersey Boys in London which was FANTASTIC. My falsetto Cherie Baby was the envy of the entire upper circle. I turned heads when I gave that number some lung love. A pigeon dive bombed me outside the theatre which warmed up my voice nicely.
Annamay I too have seen Jersey Boys and absolutely loved it, one of the best things on the Westend at the moment. I must have been in a different showing as the rendition of Cherie Baby was, dare I say thankfully, not a duet including yourself!
