Freshers Update. …….
My daughter made a brief ‘phone call home to tell me she has Freshers Flu (too much alcohol, too little sleep are the triggers) and that she is pals with an overseas student . This new friend has a name that translated into English means ‘Happy Cabbage’.
Her credit ran out before I found out if Happy Cabbage is a boy or a girl and where they come from.
Thank you for the update – I am very much worrying about your daughter and what she’s eating/drinking! (and am dreading my 6yr old baby girl ever leaving home!) x
I think what she is drinking is a bigger worry than what she is not eating at the moment. I wish I was still mashing her bananas…….

That reminds me of the game where you have your first pet and mother’s maiden name as your name so mine would be “Scampy Bates”. Perhaps R’s friend’s has done that too. There’s an article to be written about people with funny names! I once heard of a Victoria Station with a brother called Heuston.
