Thanks for your thoughts Cassandra. I have no answers, just a ton of questions, about the whole clairvoyant/spirit world thing but it must have been very startling to realise that someone who had never met you knew so much about you and your family.
I’ve lost my mum, too, and agree that a message would be amazing – and perhaps worth going back to the SAGB for, but as you say a few words would probably leave me wanting much more……

hi, I’m a friend of Shiv’s, she reccomended your bolg (or even your blog!). I just read your post and had to comment.
I went for a reading there years ago. They knew nothing about me. I came away totally freaked out. I’d just lost my mum and they described a lady who had a lovely smile and loved to laugh. She wanted to send her love to Jean (her sister), Tom, (my dad) and ‘christened John but known as Jack’ her brother and also to say happy birthday to Tom in a few days (it was my dad;s birthday 3 days later). Totally astounded, I still couldn’t help wondering why she had no message for my uncle Jim, her other brother.
The medium went on to describe something that happened in a ‘lucid dream I’d had that no one knew about. She also said that my next cat would choose me, it would turn up on my doorstep. I lived in a first floor flat at the time.
My uncle Jim died unexpectedly the next day.
A few months later I moved into the house where I now live. The following year, the cat from 3 doors away turned up and refused to leave. I had her for 5 years…she is now only contactable through a medium too.
Although in a way this convinced me there is life after death, at the same time I STILL miss my mum, I still want to talk to her myself, want to cuddle her and laugh with. I thought proof would make it easier. It certainly hasn’t made it harder but it wasn’t as comforting as I thought it would be.

Helloooooooo Is anyone there? I’ve a message from the other side— well from Hull actually! Surely you have more than enough to occupy your time . Is it true you’ve ordered a crystal ball and large hooped ear-rings from QVC?
