Thank you Nuala Ni Chonchuir - who has a cracking blog of her own http://womenrulewriter.blogspot.com – for giving me this award. It’s taken me a couple of days to post it here because I had to have my hair done – smooth and swingy and very tickly round the ears, and a new outfit before I could properly do the award justice. So I’m wearing black linen trousers and a pink top with giant mother of pearl buttons and a scoopy ‘it’s not all over yet’ neckline.. Can I hear Trinny and Susannah puking in a bucket ? A stylish enamelled and stencilled one, of course, with a part wooden handle.

“Theatre – there is no better night out even when it’s memorable for all the wrong reasons” would you be referring to our Billy Elliot hysterics in the foyer or perhaps the photo shoot at Hairspray!!
