I love the Antie Pastie blog - as a Wigan gal myself (now an honorary southerner) full marks to Les for keeping the reputation of that fine northern town up! Wigan is also known for George Orwell's Road to Wigan Pier, Wigan Pier, Wigan Casino, George Formby and Uncle Joe's Mint Balls which are ideal in this weather as they 'Keep you all Aglo'. Uncle Joe's can now even be bought in Selfridges. Then of course there are the pies...meat, meat & potato, steak, cheese & onion, chicken....wonder if anyone has thought of anti pasta pies...
