Suri Cruise is a delectable little girl and clearly brings enormous joy to her parents Katie and Tom Cruise who kiss and carry her a lot, dress her up to the nines and have even allowed her to help herself to a lorry load of toys from a New York department store.
It’s delightful that she is healthy, happy and loved not only by her doting parents but also newspaper and magazine editors all over the world.
BUT - everytime I see her cherished face beaming out at me from a newspaper she makes my mind flit to children all over the world who live with poverty, hunger and sadness. It’s a wierd reflex thing that’s made me fill out two direct debits to children’s charities this month alone. My conscience is on Cruise control.
