Another day, another BBC radio interview. This time it was Jeremy Vine on Radio 2 being stood in for by Mathew Bannister. In the pre interview waiting room I was cool calm and collected until my sofa filled up with Jackie Collins who was there promoting her new soon to be blockbuster ‘Married Lovers’ and Richard Madeley promoting his book ‘Who Cares?’. That’s not really what’s his book is callled, it’s just what I think.
Now, here I have a dilemma. Should I be true to myself and leave that comment about Richard’s book in this blog ? Or should I remove it in case I’m ever borderline for inclusion in the Richard & Judy Book Club ? Think. Think. Think.
OK I’m leaving it in and telling you a secret that might offset my slight against Richard AND revive my book club chances – Richard IS fanciable ! He’s broader and bronzer than he appears on TV and nicely jolly, too.
My chat on Pushy Mothering went well with insults from callers and e-mailers pinging all around me. It’s all a bit of a blur but I can remember laughing out loud when one caller shouted ‘that woman makes me sick !’ I do wish people would get off the fence and speak their mind !
