I’ve just been driven home home after a rave half hour as a guest on the Stephen Nolan BBC Radio 5 Live phone-in show. I was booked as live bait to attract rabid callers who object to me being a self confessed Pushy Mother. (see links to that article under published work above)
I got plenty of criticism which was thrilling, and I reckon that those callers who were almighty rude to me should have their bottoms smacked and be sent to bed early. I blame the parents.
…and, the last word, I’m not going to apologise EVER for putting my heart and soul into loving my family. My parents did it for me and I hope my kids will do it for their sons and daughters, too.
Oh, and a ps: I had my hair done specially for my radio appearance and the studio headphones have made a massive dent in my ‘do’, but not my ego. That’s HUGE after tonight. Normal services will resume tomorrow.
.

Radio HaHa is really funny – I thought the callers were a mixture of very supportive and late night loonies but who cares! How wonderful to broadcast from the BBC and I thought you had a very serene voice for radio -I think you should have your own “pushy mother” radio phone in show each week! you can sort out the problems of parents with their sprogs.
